This is a normal manufacturing characteristic, not a defect, and does not affect safety, strength or operation; it becomes less noticeable when the light is on.
This hardwired wall light is for indoor use only. Use low heat LED bulbs exclusively to protect the polymer lampshade; incandescent and halogen bulbs are not suitable. The socket specification is E26 or E27.
